The client was looking for a solution to be able to offer their customers a pleasant environment in the summer. Together with Panasonic Netherlands - Michael Maessen, we looked at how the hotel could best achieve this in its existing situation. Also, for the placement of the outdoor unit so that it would not cause any nuisance. This plan was discussed with the client and commissioned.
Challenge
In the existing situation, where the hotel had been restored not very long ago, it had been made to seem as if the system and pipes had always been there. As the contractor from the restoration was now involved again, extra knowledge was available in-house, which ensured an optimal solution. Also during construction, when the hotel was partially open, ensuring that guests were not inconvenienced was a challenge. But has been to the satisfaction of the owner and new guests.
Solutions & Tech Applied
In Amsterdam, where there are a lot of hotels, you have to see which USP you should propose to the customer so that he chooses you and not your “neighbor". In the before and after seasons, the air conditioning is used for heating, which leads to a reduction in gas consumption. Because of COVID-19, the nanoe-G air purification system has acquired an even more important position/function in addition to what it already had to offer. Central control ensures that the customer cannot "forget" to turn off the air conditioning when leaving the hotel room, as this can also easily be done centrally when returning the key. Apart from the high SEER and the good SCOP and the current high gas prices, this system pays off very quickly. I can actually copy what has been written above, as the total picture ensures an optimal system with the lowest costs and the highest yield.
