During a change of ownership and a renovation, the “Maison Tirel Guerin” hotel restaurant replaced its old and varied heating and cooling systems with new equipment. Three mini VRF ECOi now ensure heating and cooling of the reception area as well as two restaurants. All these systems are also equipped with Panasonic nanoe™ X indoor air quality improvement technology.
Challenge
The new owners wanted to be equipped not only with performance heating and cooling systems which blend in with the ongoing renovations, but which also ensure an optimal air quality due to the Covid-19 health crisis. The performance of the Panasonic nanoe™ X technology in terms of indoor air quality was key in their decision.
Solutions & Tech Applied
The installer, Climarvor, made the difference on two specific points : preferring small systems made it possible to be very flexible and to comply with the many architectural constraints related to the existing structure and renovations. Having acquired the establishment in the middle of the Covid crisis, it was imperative for the new owners to install a system that ensures the best quality of indoor air possible.
The performances displayed with nanoe™X were decisive.
Panasonic solutions therefore equip the establishment’s reception area, both restaurants, a bistro, and a gourmet restaurant with ceiling and cassettes.
An Etherea unit integrating nanoe™X was also added in a room separate from the gourmet restaurant in the kitchen for watching the chef work live. The addition of this unit has also improved indoor air quality and drastically treated odours from nearby cooking ranges.
The owners’ apartments, located on the top floor of the establishment are also equipped with Panasonic systems.
