Bet on a new concept aimed at the Millennials segment. The approach to Moxy was based on the guidelines of this lifestyle brand and the location of the building. Given the importance of energy efficiency in the development of the project, innovative solutions were chosen, such as solar panels, shade panels that prevent overheating, allowing adequate amounts of daylight on all sides, LED lighting systems and thermal comfort and wind in the areas
It was necessary to combine all the equipment in the best possible way in the short space available on the roof and in this way a hybrid system (GHP+EHP) was even chosen to acclimatize the largest existing UTAN. Noise studies were carried out on the indoor units, which allowed the non-use of expansion valves outside the indoor units.
The system exceeded the savings of the DHW, since it is not possible to implement solar thermal panels, since the construction area is low compared to its height. According to the study carried out, a return can be achieved in about 5 and a half years. Given the short payback of the adopted solution, the client intends to replicate this solution in future hotels with these characteristics.
GHP systems for air conditioning in rooms and common areas with reuse for DHW.
