The objective was to create a central headquarters to house the manufacturing plant, the R&D centre and the offices in order to consolidate the base for its national and international expansion as a market leader.
Challenge
As a new building, the main challenges were: providing individual climate control for the different areas and offices so that some could operate in cooling mode and others in heating mode; ventilation and air renewal in the building without compromising its efficiency; the production of hot water for the changing rooms without the need for fossil fuels; and centralised control and monitoring of the building's consumption.
