System: Panasonic Air-to-Water Heat Pumps
Installation Capacity: 5 x 24/28 kW
Owner: Brabrand Boligforening
Installation Year: 2014

Background:
Brabrand Boligforening has constructed 75 low-energy houses in Hasselager near Århus. The houses have been constructed in clusters with 15 houses sharing a single heat pump installation. The first families moved in in the fall of 2013.

Project Challenge:
To construct low-energy houses, which are self-sufficient in water and heating supply. The carbon-neutral houses have been constructed in accordance with the new 2020 low-energy regulations.

Solution:
Each house cluster is supplied with hot water and heating from a Panasonic T-CAP Air-to-Water Heat Pump, which is powered by a solar cell system.
The T-CAP Air-to-Water Heat Pump maintains its heating capacity down to -15ºC. All heat pumps are supplied with a HPM1 control system.

Building Energy Analysis:
The houses have been constructed in accordance with the new 2020 low-energy regulations, and maintain a very low energy consumption for room heating and production of hot water.

Control:
Panasonic Intelligent control with energy distribution for central controller, with web setting for monitoring from distance.
