Seal of Approval for Panasonic
13/10/2014
Panasonic has been recognised by The British Allergy Foundation, receiving the Allergy UK ‘Seal of Approval’ for its Nanoe-G air purifying technology.
Allergy UK is the leading national charity dedicated to supporting allergy sufferers in the UK. One of its aims is to offer advice on the best products for sufferers. To do this, it scientifically tests products to prove they are efficient at reducing or removing allergens from the external environment. The testing is carried out by an independent laboratory to protocols which have been created for the ‘Seal of Approval’ by leading allergy specialists, specifically to benefit the sufferers of allergy, asthma, sensitivity and intolerance. Panasonic’s Nanoe-G has been approved by Allergy UK and is now listed on the website under Air Purifiers - www.allergyuk.org.
Nanoe-G is a revolutionary air purifying system which is used in all Panasonic Etherea air conditioning units. Using nano-technology, fine e-ion particles are released by the air conditioning system, which deactivate 99% of airborne bacteria and viruses in the filter’s indoor unit. This ensures that the air is cleansed rapidly. It works effectively on airborne and adhesive micro-organisms such as bacteria, viruses and mould, thus ensuring a cleaner, healthier environment. It also neutralises odours to provide a more pleasant and healthy environment.
Living spaces can also be purified more effectively, as harmful micro-organisms can be removed from furniture, surfaces and the air. Even when the air conditioning system is not in use, Nanoe-G technology continues to work and self-clean the unit, deactivating the micro-organisms in the filter. This means that consumers can enjoy complete peace-of-mind with a living environment that is fresher and cleaner.
This feature also offers energy-efficient qualities; ensuring an efficient operation by using highly-advanced sensors to actively detect dirt and other particles that only react when required.
“We are delighted to receive recognition from Allergy UK and to now be listed on the website” explains Marc Diaz, UK Country Manager of Panasonic Heating and Cooling. “With respiratory and allergy conditions showing no sign of relenting, a healthy, comfortable and energy-efficient solution is in prime demand with homeowners. Panasonics air conditioning systems will offer top-of-the-range Nanoe-G technology to ensure the ultimate purity in air, without having to compromise in comfortable temperatures and satisfying costs.”
