Panasonic’s Aquarea L Series with Natural Refrigerant Available in Bi-Bloc
24/08/2023
Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions continues to expand its heat pump portfolio with the addition of Bi-Bloc units to its Aquarea L Series, which can provide heating, domestic hot water (DHW) production, and cooling if required.
Panasonic’s Aquarea L Series heat pumps utilise the natural refrigerant R290, which has a low GWP of 3, therefore it has a lower environmental impact than alternative refrigerants and allows for a more energy-efficient solution (A+++). The award-winning heat pumps were recognised in the 2022 Good Design Awards, the iF Design Awards 2023 and the Red Dot Awards[JJ1] 2023, which all highlighted the outstanding design of the heat pumps, aesthetically as well as functionally.
The L Series allows for easy installation with a hydraulic (water) connection between the indoor and outdoor unit. The Aquarea L series provides water outlet temperatures of up to 75°C, even in outdoor temperate down to -10°C.
