Panasonic recognised as frontrunners in sustainability at IRI Industry Awards 2024

Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions Ltd achieved success at the IRI Industry Awards 2024. Obtaining Highly Commended in the Energy and Environmental category for its innovative R290 ECOi-W AQUA-G BLUE air-to-water reversible heat pump. Panasonic’s efforts to increase efficiency and reduce environmental impact has been awarded by the Institute of Refrigeration Ireland at the IRAC 2024 exhibition.
The IRI Industry Awards and IRAC Exhibition showcase the best in the refrigeration and cooling industry, celebrating the sector and recognising leading experts. The award was announced on Friday 19th April 2024 in the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel, Naas Road, Dublin, with the IRAC exhibition occurring before the evening ceremony a short distance away in the Green Isle Hotel, Naas Road, Dublin.

was amongst the impressive winner’s list, achieving a Highly Commended award
for their impressive energy efficient R290 ECOi-W AQUA-G BLUE air-to-water
reversible heat pump chiller. Boasting a low GWP of only 3, the range reduces
environmental impact whilst delivering high seasonal performance values with a
maximum SEER 4.4 and SCOP 3.9. The chiller’s A++ energy efficiency rating
achieves significant energy savings and improved efficiency ratios, with lower
operating costs. The units provide an innovative solution for heating, cooling
and domestic hot water, producing temperatures of up to 70°C in water from 0°C
air temperatures.
The range is flexible in application with units available from 50-80 kW and a potential capacity of up to 640 kW when in cascade. The range is particularly suitable for multi-occupancy, light commercial and industrial integration, with potential for connection of up to 8 units in cascade and fully customisable configuration.
Advanced smart controls and real-time remote monitoring and servicing delivers ease of application and flexibility of operation. The Panasonic Smart Cloud software enables optimised product running and monitoring for both end-user and installer.
