Connect and Manage Panasonic Heat Pumps in Cascade with the New Advanced Cascade Edge, From Wherever You Are
24/01/2025
Panasonic is launching its new Cascade Manager, Aquarea Cascade Edge, including P-Smart Edge and P-Smart Nexus. Collectively, they provide seamless control over heating, cooling, and domestic hot water (DHW) in a cascade system. These solutions have been designed to meet the growing demand for the management of energy-efficient heating and cooling in various applications, including central heating projects, small hotels, supermarkets, and restaurants.
The new Aquarea Cascade Edge can connect up to either four or ten outdoor Aquarea heat pump units in cascade configuration and is compatible with the entire Aquarea Series. All necessary components are enclosed in one casing and are ready to use without additional accessories.
The Aquarea units in cascade can be controlled and managed online by P-Smart Edge, with easy connection via a tablet, phone or laptop. The P-Smart Edge provides local web visualisation of the Aquarea units connected in cascade and remote management of the system – without the need for being present onsite.
Key features include:
- Local web visualisation – P-Smart Edge provides remote monitoring and operation status of the units, so units can be managed and analysed wherever you are
- Data ownership – full control and ownership of the unit data, with it being stored inside the controller and visualised using a smartphone or tablet, to check the operating status of units
- User friendly interface – the easy-to-read interface includes plant overviews, alarm settings, control monitoring and settings, providing managers with full access of sites and ease of visualisation when managing Aquarea heat pumps
- Quick configuration – connect to and configure the network quickly in minutes
The P-Smart Edge is designed with the user in mind. Facility managers can check the energy consumption and operating status of all units, whilst having optimal remote management, to ensure convenience and flexibility. Installers can also benefit from straight-forward set-up, continuous easy maintenance and can check operation parameters in a graph to ensure optimal performance.
Also included in the Cascade Manager is the P-Smart Nexus, a smart multi-side remote management tool. It provides users a global supervision of all sites, allowing 24/7 remote management from any location.
Together, Panasonic's Aquarea Cascade Edge is designed to provide a reliable and efficient solution for cascade systems, ensuring ease of management, comfort and sustainability for all customers.
