Panasonic Expands Wide Range of HVAC Solutions with Natural Refrigerant R290
14/03/2024
Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions continues
to lead the charge in sustainable HVAC solutions by incorporating the natural
refrigerant R290 across a wide range of its latest products, further bolstering
its commitment to eco-conscious innovation. Attendees of Mostra Convegno
Expocomfort are invited to experience these cutting-edge products firsthand at
Panasonic's booth (Stand A29+B12, Hall 5).
R290, a natural refrigerant, minimises environmental
impact while simultaneously enhancing energy efficiency and comfort. With an impressively
low Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 3, R290 emerges as a green alternative
suitable for both residential and commercial projects, delivering exceptional
performance without compromising environmental responsibility. Heat pump
efficiency increases with the use of R290 as it enables a maximum water outlet
temperature of 75°C,
widening the applications of water-based heating solutions range from 5 kW to
80 kW, and can boost capacity up to 640 kW with cascade control.
This initiative aligns seamlessly with
Panasonic's Environmental Vision 2050, aiming to significantly reduce CO2
emissions and overall environmental footprint. By harnessing the power of R290,
Panasonic is actively contributing to the realisation of a carbon-neutral
society, where energy efficiency surpasses consumption.
The integration of R290 extends across a
spectrum of heating and cooling solutions, including the Aquarea L and M
Series, as well as the ECOi-W AQUA-G BLUE heat pumps.
Aquarea L Series –
Engineered for high efficiency, the Aquarea L Series heat pumps feature Hydro
Split All-in-One High Performance units, boasting water outlet temperatures of
up to 75°C down to -10°C. Designed for versatility, these heat pumps offer
outstanding efficiency with a SCOP of up to 5.12, along with reduced sound
levels for enhanced comfort.
Aquarea T-CAP M Series
– The newest addition to the Aquarea lineup, the M Series
introduces a modular concept for increased application flexibility. The T-CAP units
come in 9, 12, 16 kW, and have now been expanded to include even bigger
capacities – 20, 25 and 30 kW. Combining the high capacities, 75°C water outlet
even at -15°C outdoor temperature, and T-CAP technology, this an unbeatable
solution for centralised heating in multifamily buildings and retrofit commercial
applications.
ECOi-W AQUA-G BLUE –
Catering to the demands of large-scale applications, the ECOi-W
AQUA-G BLUE heat pump utilises R290 to
provide energy-efficient solutions for commercial, industrial, and
multi-dwelling residential projects. With up to 70°C leaving water temperature,
it is an energy-efficient solution for domestic hot water for various project
requirements, such as residential and commercial buildings. The ECOi-W AQUA-G
BLUE solution covers capacities from 50 kW up to 80 kW, with the possibility to
boost it until 640 kW in a cascade system.
