PANASONIC WINS AC PRODUCT OF THE YEAR AT THE NATIONAL ACR & HEAT PUMP AWARDS 2022
15/06/2022
The Panasonic Etherea Air Conditioning units which features Panasonic’s nanoeTM X technology was announced as the winner of the AC Product of the Year award category at the recent National ACR & Heat Pump Awards 2022 that took place at a celebratory dinner in Leeds at the Queen’s Hotel in June.
Jose Alves, UK and Ireland’s Country Manager for Panasonic commented on the win, “I’m thrilled that the judges of the National ACR & Heat Pump awards, as well as others, continue to recognise the growing success, green credentials and high energy efficiency of the Panasonic product range. We are proud of the long-term benefits as well as the energy efficiency that the Panasonic Etherea units with nanoeTM X technology provide to our customers.”
The Etherea range is
suitable for residential homes, retail and commercial applications such as
healthcare, offices and hospitality spaces with a wide range of capacities from
2kW – 3.5kW to suit a variety of applications.
The Panasonic Etherea model is robust and boasts the highest energy rank of A+++ in heating and cooling, providing the greatest level of comfort. The air-to-air technology allows for a highly energy efficient solution to ensure optimal use year-round. The units also utilise R32 refrigerant for a much lower environmental impact in addition to being both an energy and a cost saving solution for the end user.
Furthermore, The Panasonic
Etherea air
conditioning system incorporates nanoe™
X technology which can help bring
incredible benefits indoors so that hard surfaces, soft furnishings, and the
indoor environment can be a cleaner and more pleasant place to be. nanoe™ X works independently from the heating
and cooling operation of its units and uses minimal energy and requires no
maintenance. nanoe™X technology brings the incredible benefits of hydroxyl
radicals indoors so that hard surfaces, soft furnishings, and the indoor
environment can be a cleaner and pleasant place to be. Abundant in nature, and active in the air and
on surfaces, hydroxyl radicals have the capacity to inhibit five types of
pollutants, including certain viruses (inc SARS-CoV-2[1])
and bacteria as well as odours to clean and deodorise.
Panasonic strives to create a
comfortable environment for its users, which has led to the Etherea range
featuring Aerowings 2.0: two independent flexible vanes that concentrate
airflow to heat or cool a room in the shortest time possible and help
distribute air evenly throughout a room. Thanks to the larger sub vane (72mm),
which is more than double in size compared to other conventional designs, the
ability to lift airflow has also been further improved.
The Etherea units come with
built-in Wi-Fi which enables advanced smart control and voice assistant. The
units can pair with Panasonic’s Comfort Cloud app which is specially designed
to easily manage all system functions simply via a smart device.
Jose further added “Winning
the AC Product of the Year award confirms the importance of producing green,
reliable and highly energy efficient products to satisfy customer needs. The Panasonic
Etherea units with nanoe X technology are a prime example of how we can offer a
fantastic energy efficient and cost saving solution.”
