Panasonic to Showcase Sustainable Heat Pumps at ‘Hear, See and Feel a Heat Pump’ Event outside Parliament
11/10/2024
Panasonic
Heating & Cooling is excited to announce it will be showcasing its sustainable
and energy efficient Air-to-Water Heat pumps, at an event hosted by the Heat
Pump Association (HPA) on 15th October 2024 outside the Houses of
Parliament, at Old Palace Yard, Westminster. Panasonic along with the HPA and with
other leading sustainable brands, aims to educate MP’s, Lords and journalists during
this event, where attendees will be able to hear, see and feel a running heat
pump. The event is sponsored by the MCS Foundation, a charity dedicated to
advancing the decarbonisation of homes.
Panasonic
is committed to accelerating knowledge and adoption of a low carbon future
across the UK. At the event, the company will showcase its leading heat pump
solutions through live demonstrations using its fully equipped mobile van. Also
on show will be Panasonic’s Hybrid ready heat pump system, that is ready and
compatible with existing boiler systems. The aim is to advocate for lower
carbon homes by presenting its latest sustainable heating and cooling technologies
to government leaders and officials, thereby driving change and sustainability.
On hand will be Panasonic experts who will be available to talk through the
Panasonic solutions in detail.
Panasonic
has established itself as a leader at the forefront for driving innovation, education
and change in sustainable heating solutions. Its latest energy efficient products
exceed current statutory requirements, aligning with the global 2050 targets outlined
in the Paris Agreement. The highlight of the event will be Panasonic’s L Series
air-to-water heat pump, an innovative solution ideal for retrofitting older
properties with existing radiators, replacing gas or oil-fired boilers. The
Panasonic L Series Aquarea heat pump delivers water outlet temperatures of 75°C
down to -10°C, with a SCOP of up to 5.6, ensuring excellent efficiency and
earning an A+++ Energy Class rating. The unit also uses the lower refrigeration
R290 that has a GWP of only 3.
Also
featured on the Panasonic van will be its residential Air Conditioning units
equipped with nanoe™ X technology. These units provide highly energy-efficient
and cost-effective heating and cooling solutions for residential homes.
Panasonic’s nanoe™ X technology is based on a naturally occurring process that
produces hydroxyl radicals in abundance, which not only help to improve Indoor
Air Quality but also inhibits certain pollutants, viruses, and bacteria to
clean and deodorise the indoor air environment.
The
'Hear, See, and Feel a Heat Pump' event will take place from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
on 15th October 2024 at Old Palace Yard, Westminster.
