Panasonic to showcase energy saving heat pumps at the CIH Housing 2014 conference
26/03/2014
** Stand E16, NEC, Birmingham, 24-26 June**
Panasonic is delighted to announce that it will be exhibiting at the CIH Housing 2014 Conference which takes place at the NEC in Birmingham in June. The event, which is run by the Chartered Institute of Housing, is the largest of its kind in the social housing calendar and a must-attend gathering for anyone working in social and affordable housing.
Panasonic will be demonstrating their latest energy-saving heating and cooling innovations on stand E16, providing visitors with an insight into the benefits of switching to renewable heating technologies.
Air source heat pumps (ASHPs) are part of a new generation of heating and air-conditioning systems that use free inexhaustible energy found in the air to heat and cool a home. Panasonic’s Aquarea range is easy to integrate into most heating systems and is highly compatible with other renewable energy sources (including solar panels). The Aquarea range of ASHPs can help reduce your carbon footprint and lead to significant savings on fuel bills.
Panasonic’s team of experts will be on hand to help visitors find out more about the Aquarea system and show why they are becoming an increasingly popular choice for social housing projects.
“Due to the savings that they can offer, heat pumps are fast becoming a preferred option for the social housing sector” said Marc Diaz, Panasonic’s UK Country Manager. “Since we introduced the Aquarea range we have continued to work on extending the range to provide a suitable product for all applications. The show presents us the perfect opportunity to introduce this heat pump to the end-users, enabling them to see how they can benefit from this technology.”
Air to water heat pumps also offer an effective way for Housing Associations to reach Code Level 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes and satisfy any planning or equipment siting restrictions that Housing Associations’ might have.
