PANASONIC TAKES ENERGY-SAVING OF COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS TO THE NEXT LEVEL WITH PACi ELITE
29/04/2013
With a focus on energy-saving solutions, Panasonic is pleased to launch the brand new PACi Elite, the next-generation in air conditioning, with ErP approval.
• ErP approved units with a SCOP A++
• Super contact outdoor units (5kW is extremely contact)
• Large line up of combinations of indoor units
The PACi Elite is part of Panasonic’s latest line-up of commercial air conditioning units. Joining the standard PACi System, the Elite models are designed for high-demand applications, making them more energy-efficient than ever before. The line-up includes wall mounted systems, cassettes in two sizes(90x90 and 60x60), Ducted models with varying static pressure levels. In addition there are also connectivity options include air handling units and super-efficient air curtains.
Featuring energy savings designs for the structure of fans, fan motors, compressors and heat exchangers, the PACi Elite is ranked as one of the top classed systems in the industry, with the 10kW model achieving a high SCOP value of 5.3 (PN duct type). Further improving the system’s performance, the units incorporate DC inverter technology, minimising energy wastage, and reducing the unit’s CO2 emissions.
By developing a robust and eco-conscious system, Panasonic’s PACi Elite meets the newly updated ErP product guidelines, achieving A++ thanks to its class-leading performance. The new extremely compact 5.0kW with its compact chassis at only 56cm high, 79cm long and 28.5cm deep, makes these units very easy to install.
“The launch of the PACi Elite brings additional choice to consultants and contractors looking to save energy in commercial applications,” explains Marc Diaz, UK Country Manager for Panasonic “Not only is it a highly effective system that actively reduces emissions and fuel consumption, the unit is compact and lightweight allowing for easy installation. The redesigned system is ErP approved with an extremely high SEER of A++”
Meeting commercial and seasonal demands, the new Panasonic models provide continuous cooling, even when outside temperatures are as high as 46°C. It will also provide heating when external conditions are as low as -20°C, and cooling when conditions are down to -15°C outside. The compact size of the exterior unit makes it ideal for discreet installation, ideal where space is at a premium. With an optional quiet mode, the sound of the unit can be reduced to minimise disturbance during operation.
