Panasonic Supports the Armed Forces Covenant

Heating & Cooling Solutions is proud to announce its support for the Armed
Forces Covenant. The formal signing of this official document acknowledges the
first step for the company in formally recognising its commitment in support of
veterans, their families, and the wider armed forces community in the UK.
The Armed Forces Covenant represents a national commitment and promise to ensure fair treatment for those that have served or are currently serving in the armed forces, as well as their families. By pledging support through the Armed Forces Covenant, Panasonic is actively strengthening its relationship with the defence community.
By committing to the Armed Forces Covenant, Panasonic is staying true to its principles set out by its founder, Konosuke Matsushita in 1929 to adapt and progress the development of society and the well-being of people through business activities, thereby enhancing quality of life throughout the world. Jose Alves, Regional Director of Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions, for UK, Ireland and Netherlands, signed the Armed Forces Covenant on 15th November 2023. Jose remarked, “We have taken this step to highlight the heating and cooling industry as an excellent career choice for veterans and the families of active-duty personnel, emphasising inclusivity and accessibility for all.”
