Panasonic Supports Low Carbon Homes North East Retrofit Conference
23/09/2021
Panasonic is delighted to be
participating and sponsoring the Low Carbon Homes North East online #retrofit
conference. The aim of the conference is to explore, discuss and
develop local targets to help deliver climate and environmental initiatives
within the North East and lower carbon emissions within the area. The event is
a series of virtual sessions via the Remo platform on
28-30 September 2021, 09:00 – 11.30am.
Hosted by The
North East England Climate Coalition (NEECCo), to unite sectors, communities
and organisations to reach a common goal of lowering carbon across the region. Attendees will participate in focused talks, discuss retrofit
best practice with professionals, and join live Q&As with speakers and
fellow attendees so as to contribute to the retrofit plan across the
region.
James Moran, North East Representative for Panasonic Low
Carbon Solutions commented, “We are excited to be part of this event and to be contributing
to join in the discussions around a low carbon future - a top priority for Panasonic.
It is important that we highlight and explore how the heating
and cooling industry is evolving and setting new trends and standards to help
combat climate change. Homeowners are increasingly looking for their homes to
be more energy efficient and for low carbon solutions. We are
very much looking forward to discussions during the three mornings and beyond”.
Panasonic is a world leader within the heating and cooling industry,
with over 60 years of experience of producing innovative products. The company
invests heavily in R&D to develop new solutions to advance the market, with
a huge emphasis on environmental impact, hence the investment in emerging low
carbon technologies such as air source heat pumps.
Graham Lock, Founder of Low Carbon Homes commented, “The
sessions each morning will be informative with focused talks and discussions around Retrofit best
practice – we
look forward to participants joining in and contributing to the plans. Now
is the time to collaborate and work towards a lower carbon future.”
