Panasonic launches new touch panel controller
26/03/2014
As commercial property owners become more energy conscious and are keen to monitor their heating and cooling consumption, Panasonic has developed a new touch panel control to provide weekly, monthly and yearly figures for its range of PACi Elite air conditioners.
Panasonic has always offered its customers highly efficient air conditioners. With costs continuing to rise, it is now more important than ever for building owners to be able to monitor their energy consumption. Panasonic has taken a step forward with the launch of the CZ-RTC3 touch panel control which provides this essential information in an easy to access manner.
Compatible with Panasonic PACi Elite systems, the touch panel provides up to date consumption figures to suit all customer requirements. This information is displayed on a compact 3 inch screen.
The touch panel’s elegant design blends into any environment. Rather than the traditional hard button controller, Panasonic has opted for a touch screen and panel design to respond to current developments within the industry. By incorporating pictograms, users can read the information much easier.
The CZ-RTC3 is available in five languages, including English, Spanish, French, Italian and German. As well as simple on / off timers, the controller has been developed to provide more detailed features. Users are able to set the system to run at a certain level while the office is closed for continued energy efficiency. Fan speed control can also be programmed, while air flow direction and operating mode for eight indoor units can all be controlled via the one touch panel. There is also full system diagnostic capability which provides immediate view of past and present information. It is possible to register and view the contact details of the service company.
The CZ-RTC3 touch panel is also compatible with Panasonic’s ECOi range of air conditioning units VRF units.
