Panasonic
Announces New Warehouse
for Increased Capacity of Heating and Cooling Stock
Welwyn,
UK, May , 2023 – Panasonic Heating
& Cooling Solutions has expanded its stock storage and handling
capabilities with the addition of a new warehouse. With over 80,000 sqft the
new space, located in Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, secures Panasonic’s logistical
strength with available and deliverable stock to installers and distributors,
nationwide.
“We are excited to have this new warehouse and the increased capacity of stock holding it brings. We understand how key it is to our customers and distributers that stock is readily available to meet the deadlines of heating and cooling projects and installations. Ultimately, we are minimising any risk of disruption to our customers vital operations, ensuring timely and reliable delivery of products,” explains Jose Alves, Panasonic’s Regional Director for UK, Ireland and Netherlands.
Now fully operational, the new warehouse has a storage capacity of over 5,000m3 of key Panasonic heating and cooling products. It joins the company’s existing warehouses that deliver nationwide.
The new location not only diversifies the supply chain but also gives strategic access to the midlands and the north. With more localised warehouse facilities, customers and distribution centres are afforded reduced lead times and a more resilient supply chain. Additionally, the decreased distance between the product and its destination will cut the carbon emissions from delivery journeys, making steps towards Panasonic’s key sustainability goals.
