DOING THE DOUBLE: PANASONIC SHORTLISTED TWICE IN THE RAC COOLING AWARDS 2022
28/07/2022
Panasonic is celebrating
its Etherea Air Conditioners featuring nanoeTM X technology reaching
the shortlist in two categories of the RAC Cooling Awards 2022. Securing a finalist
spot in the AC Product of the Year and the AC Innovation award categories, winners
will be announced on 22nd September.
Richard Bishop, Head of Marketing for UK and Ireland for Panasonic commented, “Getting shortlisted in two categories is exciting news – we are delighted that the RAC Cooling Awards judges have recognised the innovation, green credentials and performance qualities of these units. Indoor air quality has never been more important and the whole team has worked so hard to bring the nanoe™ X technology to the UK market. To get shortlisted is a huge achievement in such a competitive year, so we are delighted and look forward to celebrating with the industry at the event next month.”
The Etherea range is
suitable for residential homes, retail and commercial applications such as
healthcare, offices and hospitality spaces with a wide range of capacities from
2kW – 3.5kW to suit a variety of applications. Units within the Etherea range boast an energy ranking of
A+++ and a super quiet operation noise of
just 19dB(A) to provide the greatest level of comfort.
The Panasonic Etherea air
conditioning system incorporates nanoe™
X technology which brings the
incredible benefits of hydroxyl radicals indoors so that hard surfaces, soft
furnishings, and the indoor environment can be a cleaner and more pleasant
place to be. Abundant in nature, and active in the air and on surfaces,
hydroxyl radicals have the capacity to inhibit five types of pollutants,
including certain viruses (inc SARS-CoV-2[1])
and bacteria as well as odours to clean and deodorise.
Etherea units come with nanoe™ X inside
and works independently from the heating and cooling operation of the units,
using minimal energy and requiring no maintenance.
The Etherea units also come with
built-in Wi-Fi which enables advanced smart control and voice assistant. The
units can pair with Panasonic’s Comfort Cloud app which is specially designed
to easily manage all system functions simply via a smart device.
